Maruti Suzuki now launches AGS in top variants of all-new Swift

Maruti Suzuki India today announced the introduction of Auto Gear Shift (AGS) option in top-end ZXi+ and ZDi+ variants of its best seller-all-new Swift.

Maruti Suzuki had launched the third generation of its iconic and blockbuster brand-Swift at the Auto Expo in February 2018. The all-new Swift comes with a new exciting design, enhanced performance and advanced passenger safety, pedestrian safety and child safety. At the launch, AGS transmission was offered in VXI, ZXI, VDI and ZDI variants.

R. S. Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki (Q,N,C,F)* India said, ''Swift has always scored high on customers' expectations. With the latest evolution, the all-new Swift has reached the next level of customer delight. AGS has been very well appreciated by our Swift customers. We had customer feedback seeking convenience of AGS in the high-selling top-end variants. Accordingly, we are now offering AGS in the top-end ZXI+ and ZDI+ variants. This will further strengthen the brand Swift and enhance the popularity of Maruti Suzuki’s acclaimed two-pedal technology.''

Shares of the company declined Rs 69.1, or 0.74%, to trade at Rs 9,327.70. The total volume of shares traded was 7,967 at the BSE (11.38 a.m., Wednesday).
